Miss Liberty and her sidekick Lil Sammy are teamin up to show their Patriotism!

This nicely detailed Americana set measures 16" tall. Lib and Sammy are made from painted and stained muslin.

They each have painted eyes w/ scuplted nose and brows. Their hair is sheepswool felted into place.

They're mounted onto painted and distress wooden candlesticks, then each have been secured by screws to the painted wooden base.

I've used ticking, muslin, and antique bunting flag for their clothing, and embelished w/ rusty bells, and a vintage button.

~Uncle Sam the Tax Man~

This simply primitive Uncle Sam is a
*Dogpatch Primitives Original Design*
from my Red White & Denim © Collection.

Uncle Sam is made from painted and worn muslin. He measures 20" tall including his hat. His torso is partially rag stuffed. His eyes and mouth are painted, and his nose and brows are sculpted. His hair and goatee are sheepswool, felted into place.
He sports a coat w/ tails, which I've made from stained and worn denim, and stenciled some stars to the front. I've embellished it w/ two mismatched vintage military buttons.
He has an osnaburg shirt w/ a red vest, and bow tie, and trousers made from brown and cream striped ticking. I've hand stitched some patriotic ric-rac to them. All have been stained for a nice aged appearance. I've given Sam a coordinating Top Hat to match his "get up".
Sam comes w/ his handmade American Flag and a tag which reads "USA"
He can sit or hang from the loop on his back.
Sam is suitable for display any time of the year in your Early Prim home, but he'll be especially charming during the Summer months with all of our wonderful Patriotic Holidays.
He'll come signed and dated by me :)

These sweet little baby bunnies are one of my fav designs! They are inspired by a great pattern from My Prim Sis, but I've added all my extra fun Dogpatch Primitive touches/details to make them my own!

We're all so eager for Spring to get here, and these little critters are no exception. With kites in paw they scream of Spring & Easter.....yet b/c they are done in Patriotic colors, they are perfect for summer display as well.

They are made from stained muslin, and measure a wee 8" tall. I've given them a hanger on their backs, and they look so very charming hanging on an old and early cupboard.

I have 2 to offer, one in Cream tones, the other in Red.

The red is showing up a bit pinkish in the pics, however, it is not nearly as bright in person

Here are a few of my creations from last year, and this season as well.

I think it's fun to look back to see how we, as artists evolve, while still maintaing our originality. It's also fun when we think of just where our creations end up...sometimes around the world.

This guy now resides in PA. I've got a few requests for him, so I will be offering a couple here for sale. Of course, no 2 are alike.
